Franco began his career as an underwater photographer 35 years ago and in 2000 he embarked on a career as a professional photographer, specializing in underwater environments and nature. He recently set up a company that specializes in conducting trips for micro-groups of travelers passionate about wildlife, in terrestrial and aquatic environments. The main elements that characterize his photographs are curiosity, attention to detail, movement, innovation.

For Franco, documenting changes in life forms and interactions with people is not limited to transmitting a static concept of conservation of exotic ecosystems, but is focused on bringing out the incessant transformation of biological diversity that exists today and has always existed, to make evident the process of evolution that constantly adds new variants to each ecosystem, in a perpetual mutation.

Franco is a testimonial for Canon Italy, a member of the IEPA.org (International Environment Photographers Association) and of Wild Wonders of Europe. Franco is an award-winning photographer (world champion of underwater photography in Cuba) and his images reach the top places in the most prestigious international photography competitions such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY), Nature’s Best, International Photography Awards (IPA), etc.
