I was born in Madrid in 1994, far from the sea. Fortunately, since childhood, my life has been closely tied to the ocean and the fascinating world of underwater photography, learning and traveling alongside my father, an underwater photographer with over 30 years of experience.

The sea is my life, my passion, and my obsession.

My main goal is to unveil this incredible and unknown world to raise awareness and promote its protection. Despite being an engineer specialized in renewable energies, a professional diver, and a diving instructor, my participation in prestigious underwater photography contests since 2012, where I was the youngest to win both the CMAS World and European Championships, as well as being named Underwater Photographer of the Year in 2022, has allowed me to pursue this work professionally. Recently, I was honored with the Ocean Photographer of the Year 2024 award.

Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to explore almost every ecosystem I imagined and dreamed of, capturing images of the largest and most emblematic animals of the oceans. From the Antarctic Peninsula to Svalbard in the Arctic Ocean, I have photographed majestic blue whales, intriguing sperm whales, and various species of impressive sharks. I have documented creatures both hard to see and tiny and experienced unique moments, such as when orcas showed us a thresher shark they had hunted four years ago, an encounter never before recorded by science, or witnessing dozens of whales feeding just inches from my eyes.

As a storyteller for the Spanish edition of National Geographic, I strive to share in every possible way the fascinating oceanic stories that truly surprise me. Thanks to the ever-growing community following me on social media and Instagram and the rest of my work in travel and adventures around the world, I hope these stories reach people's hearts and contribute to saving the future of our oceans.
